Bullshit or Fertilizer is movin on out

it's true! in spring 2003, our pet self-publishing project will be emerging nationwide courtesy of andrews mcmeel, purveyers of fine gift books, journals, calenders and comics collections.

it'll be euphemistically renamed, of course, perhaps "BS or Fertilizer," or something with asterisks artfully placed. pierre's funky illustrations and jamyla's grassroots book design will remain intact, and the book you've come to know and love will be big time, baby.

we foresee this arrangement consisting of two main differences. one, the price will be slightly higher (hey, mass availability has its costs!) and two, the original hard-cussin, pocket-sized, self-published editions will become instant collectors' items. just THINK what a conversation piece it'll be: "ah, BSorF," you can say. "i've had two copies since it was lovingly self-produced by two artists back in 2001." you'll be an instant arbiter of good taste and underground lit. you can tell yr friends and neighbors, and bore your progeny about it for years to come.
